Proof that what should be obvious isn't always so

We should all be honest here, the only reason anyone saw this movie was because of the title. I know that is the case for me. I didn't expect much when I saw it other than some gore and some bare breasts. In fact, I assumed they wouldn't even be able to succeed at a including a suit-up scene.

Who Knew Butchers Were So Bad Ass?

When you think of your local butcher you probably think of a fat italian guy with a stained apron behind the counter of a small counter, cutting up meat. In the case of Leon in The Midnight Meat Train, we see the wimpiest man become the baddest butcher of all... the human butcher.

Walking into the cold dirty meat packing warehouse, where his enemy has been working for so long, Leon (Bradley Cooper) finds his tools, and almost instinctively knows how to use them and wear them, despite being a vegetarian his whole life.

There was a time a few years back when I was excited to see Marvel comic characters in a movie. You had Spider-man on the big screen, Blade, The Uncanny X-men, then... Daredevil? Don’t get me wrong, I’ll geek for the man without fear in a heartbeat, but the film... lack-luster just isn’t the right word, is it? After that the slew of popcorn-scented box office chum just kept dripping from the boat. "Elektra", "Fantastic Four", "The Punisher".

I know what you're all thinking right now. What is this film? Where did it come from? And how do I get a copy?

No? You weren't thinking any of those things?

First things first, she and her Special Response Teammate get hand-picked by this mysterious leather-clad guy in finger-gloves and an emo 'do to have a go at an airport full of flesh-n-brain hungry undead on a search-n-pluck for some fat slob senator trapped inside. Then she watches as her S.R.T. pal has his neck ripped open and bled dry, only to get his dead-gangsta swerve on a scene or two later as just another walking corpse.
